After nearly two years of research, design, and experimentation, I’ve released Primitives (PRIM), a bespoke emotional vocabulary on the Ethereum blockchain. This marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey, establishing an immutable framework for a lifetime of creative exploration. As my art catalog grows, the connections between Primitives and my work will emerge naturally, shaping the next phase of my practice as an artist.

I explored Rodeo’s mutable contracts to create 50/50 tickets, reshaping older works and questioning blockchain’s promise of immutability. By manipulating metadata and minting timelines, I created a playful commentary on ephemerality, participation, and control.

This is the story of how I minted “forbidden” tokens on SuperRare’s V1 contract after being banned, turning the act of minting into art. It was a rebellion against gatekeeping in the NFT space, challenging the status quo. These tokens, now “ghost artifacts,” exist as permanent, on-chain reminders of a time when creativity and defiance collided, and disruption became part of the message.

Emotions are powerful and immediate, but they don’t have to dictate how we respond. A key insight I’ve gained is the importance of separating emotion from the event itself. This practice allows me to fully experience emotions with clarity. The goal isn’t suppression, but deeper, intentional engagement for better guidance in life.

Network effects make art more valuable as engagement grows. For artists, sharing and discussing work builds visibility and draws new fans. Beyond virality, it’s about fostering a community that amplifies your art. Genuine engagement, sharing your process, and connecting authentically turn followers into advocates, driving your reach and influence.

Floor prices and follower counts only tell part of the story. Real growth comes from feedback loops—listening to comments, messages, and reviews to understand what resonates. By engaging and adapting, you build stronger connections, loyal fans, and sustained success.
